Our 70th anniversary concert starts with the Finnish and ends with a bang! First, Sibelius’s charming Karelia Suite evokes images of his homeland that will make even a couch potato feel a little “Finland-Curious”….
Then brace yourself for the power, the drama, and joy of Beethoven’s iconic Ninth Symphony; an Ode to Joy, a universal anthem of brotherhood and hope and a spark of light in turbulent times. Feel the power of over 200 musicians as SSO is joined by the Western Reserve Chorale and West Shore Chorale.
