Our annual Young Soloist winners represent the best of the best and never fail to astound our audiences with their talent beyond their years. The thunderous applause they receive each year is a testament to their extraordinary performances.This year we welcome Aika Birch (violin) and James Carson (piano)!
Apologies to those who like their Tchaikovsky dark and stormy, but you’ll still love his lighter side! Feel his genuine affection for Ukraine as he weaves its folk songs throughout his delightful second symphony, culminating in an utterly charming final movement. You’re guaranteed to walk out whistling a happy tune!
